Carl J. "Charlie" Pappler of Warrington, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Neshaminy Manor. He was 91 years old. Charlie was born November 22, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Frederick Pappler and the late Margaret Pappler (nee - Roderer). He is the beloved husband of the late Edith A. (nee Santoro) Pappler; Father of Charles J. Pappler and his wife Connie, and Karen M. Mullin and her husband Stephen; grandfather of T.J., Katherine, Charlee Ann, Jessica, and Alyssa; brother of the late Fred Pappler and his wife the late Frances.

Carl was born, raised, and educated in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia. He was a tool and die maker for Tucker Industries (Superior Tool and Die), in Cornwells Heights, PA, for many years. Carl and Edith were happily married for 50 years until her passing on December 11, 2000. They raised their family in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia where Carl was a soccer and baseball coach at the Wissinoming Boys Club. He was also a long time member of the Vereinigung Erzgebirge and loved to fish and golf in his free time. Carl was known in his son’s neighborhood of Warrington for his long walks with Trixie, the dog, in her stroller.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Avenue, Warrington, PA 18976 www.saintrobertwarrington.org. His graveside service followed at St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Neshaminy Manor, 1660 Easton Road, Warrington, PA 18976.
