Albert A. DiIoia of Hatboro, Pennsylvania died Monday, July 18, 2016 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. He was 89 years old. Albert was born October 2, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late A. Albert DiIoia and the late Gertrude DiIoia (nee Warnock) and stepson of the late Vera S. DiIoia (nee Siopa). He is the beloved husband of the late Marie Teresa DiIoia (nee D’Isidoro); father of Richard DiIoia and his wife Robin, Lorraine Rauscher and her husband Larry, and Robert DiIoia and his wife Juliet; grandfather of Julianne Bonacci and her husband Nick, Kathryn Breish and her husband Gordon, Daniel Rauscher and his wife Erin, Amanda Rauscher, Jessica Rauscher, and Robert A. DiIoia; great grandfather of Angelina, Isabella, and Silvana Bonacci.

Albert was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy. He entered service with the United States Navy in November of 1944 and was honorably discharged in July of 1946 at a rank of Fireman Second Class. His decorations included American Theater Ribbon and Victory Medal. During his working career, Albert was a Plastics Engineer and was President of ATZ Plastics in Willow Grove, PA. Albert was a past president of the Society of Plastics Engineers and head of the men’s association at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Horsham, PA.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. His graveside service and military honors rendered by the United States Navy followed at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
