Anna Mae Twaddle of Dresher, Pennsylvania died Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience in Philadelphia. She was 91 years old. Anna Mae was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is the beloved wife of the late William Twaddle, Jr.; mother of Nancy Yates and her husband Joseph, Wilhelmina Organist and her late husband Kenny, William Twaddle and his wife Cathy, the late David Twaddle and his wife Reenie, Anna Mae Kerrigan, and Fred Twaddle and his wife Robin; grandmother of Christelle Yates, Melissa Huckerby, Karyn Ehrsam, Julie Yates, Kelly Durie, Genevieve Harper, Paris Organist, Jason Organist, Orion Organist, William Twaddle, Daniel Twaddle, Aimee Twaddle, Jaclyn, Hancock, David Twaddle, Eric Twaddle, Jeff Kerrigan, Jarrett Kerrigan, Jenny Kerrigan, Stephanie Twaddle, Kelly Tullius and Robert Gray. She is also survived by her 21 great grandchildren.

Anna Mae was born in Philadelphia and was raised and educated in Roslyn, PA where she was a graduate of Abington High School. After graduation she worked as a key punch operator for the Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company. After her marriage to William Twaddle, the couple moved to Upper Dublin in 1961 and raised their family. Anna Mae worked in the cafeteria of the Jarrettown Elementary School and then was the manager of the Thomas Fitzwater Elementary School Cafeteria in the Upper Dublin School District for many years. She was a longtime member of the Jarrettown United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and using her iPad in her leisure time.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. An additional viewing was held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until her funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at the Jarrettown United Methodist Church, 1460 Limekiln Pike, Jarrettown, PA 19025 www.jarrettownchurch.org. A graveside service followed at the Jarrettown United Methodist Church Cemetery.
