Elsie Knott of Southampton, Pennsylvania died Thursday, January 11, 2007 at Southampton Estates. She was 90 years old. Elsie was born July 24, 1916 in Rissdorf, Austria-Hungary, the daughter of the late Rudolf Csink and the late Bertha Csink (nee - Emeritzy).
She is the beloved wife of the late Alfred Knott. Sister of the late Rudolph Csink and the late Bela Csink. Aunt of Rudolf Csink, Gustav Csink, Hermann Gorgus, Eileen Csink, William Csink and Elizabeth Boehmler and their families.
Elsie was, born, raised and educated in Europe where she was trained as a dressmaker and seamstress. After emigrating to the United States, she worked at the Apex Hosiery Mill.
She was a former resident of Brae Bourn Drive in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. prior to moving to Southampton Estates in 1988. She was a longtime member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Cannstatter Volksfest Verein.
Relatives and friends were invited to her funeral service Monday, January 15, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 14100 Worthington Road, Philadelphia, PA. 19116 where friends were invited to call after 9:00 A.M. A cemetery service at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum, 333 West County Line Road, Feasterville, PA. 19053 followed the funeral service. Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Sönke R. Schmidt-Lange, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
