Hilda Joan Giordano of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Philadelphia Protestant Home. She was 104 years old. Hilda was born October 20, 1919 in Nottingham, England, daughter of the late John William Perry and the late Clemintine Perry (nee - Wilson). She is the beloved wife of the late Samuel J. Giordano; loving mother of John Giordano (Diane), Michael Giordano, and Stephen Giordano (Rose Marie); grandmother of John Jr. (Angela), Mark (Bridget), Colleen Harter (Michael), Thomas (Angela), Vincent (Megan), and Salvatore (Arielle). Also survived by ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, John William.
Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. and funeral service at 11:30 A.M. at Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6401 Martins Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Her graveside service followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Philadelphia Protestant Home Benevolent Fund, 6401 Martins Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
