Mildred M. "Millie" Clark of Horsham, Pennsylvania died Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Dresher. She was 99 years old. Mildred was born June 13, 1926 in Trenton, New Jersey, daughter of the late Harry Schaffer and the late Katherine Schaffer (nee - McGurk). She is the beloved wife of the late Milton R. Clark Jr.; mother of Kenneth Clark and his wife Linda, Carol Wampole and her husband Greg, Donna Check and her husband Jim, and Joan Ramsdale and her husband Rick; grandmother of 10; great grandmother of 14 and two more on the way. She was predeceased by her sisters Helen Berridge, Margaret Rosanelli and her husband Frank, and Dorothy Showaker and her husband Charles.
Mildred met Milton in Horsham and after a seven month courtship, they married on April 27, 1946 at St. Joseph’s Church in Warrington, PA. They raised their family in Horsham. Mildred was a clerk at Prudential insurance in Horsham and volunteered in the school cafeteria at St. Catherine of Siena for many years. She enjoyed bowling, playing pinochle, trips to Atlantic City, and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. She enjoyed watching the game right until this past Saturday night. Mildred will be remembered for keeping a clean house, which was very important to her, and entertaining family and friends.
Services were private at the family request.
