Elizabeth Hallenberger of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Friday, April 1, 2005 at her residence. She was 88 years old. Elizabeth was born January 8, 1917 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Ludwig Kirchenbauer and the late Elizabeth Kirchenbauer (nee - Wida).
She is the beloved wife of the late William Hallenberger; mother of Lydia Clarke and her husband Joseph; grandmother of Laurie Knipp and Lisa Terry; great grandmother of Jennifer and Joseph Knipp and Jillian and Jacqueline Terry.
During her working career Elizabeth was a nurse’s aid. She was a longtime member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
Services and interment were private at the family’s request
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 625 West Ridge Pike, Suite A-100, Conshohocken, PA 19428-1190.
