Leora Hart Eder of Warminster, Pennsylvania died Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Christ’s Home. She was 98 years old. Leora was born July 7, 1927 in Marlborough Twp., Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Howard Wardle Sr. and the late Vernie Wardle (nee - Hart). She is the beloved wife of 73 years of the late Charles Milton Eder; mother of David Milton Eder and his wife Katherine and Rhoda Marie Wiens and her husband Dean. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Milt noticed Leora when she passed by his house with her head held high. The two fell in love and were married two years later on June 1st 1946. Leora worked for many years at Christ Home as a housemother in the children’s dormitory. Leora was also an author writing two books. One about her little girl and the other about her life with her husband.
Services were private at the family request.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Ron Schmidt from Christ’s Home, 1 Shepherd’s Way, Suite 100, Warminster, PA 18974.
