Charles Milton "Milt" Eder of Warminster, Pennsylvania died Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. He was 97 years old. Milt was born May 9, 1922 in Abington, Pennsylvania, son of the late Max Eder and the late Marie Eder (nee - Barnsteiner). He is the beloved husband of 73 years of Leora Hart Eder (nee Wardle); father of David Milton Eder and his wife Katherine and Rhoda Marie Wiens and her husband Dean.

Milt was a 1943 graduate of National Farm School (Delaware Valley University). When he returned to church after his college graduation, all the girls at church were vying for his attention. He noticed Leora however when she passed by his house with her head held high. The two fell in love and were married two years later on June 1st 1946.  During his working career, Milt was a Special Representative for the Prairie Bible Institute traveling throughout the United States and Canada. He also spent 12 years at Christ Home growing 25 acres of vegetables, and raising pork and beef for the 150 children and 150 retirement guests at Christ Home. He was also a house parent for the young boys dormitory. In his free time, Milt enjoyed stamp collecting, painting, and refinishing antiques for supplemental income.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. and funeral service at 2:00 P.M. in Smyth Hall at Christ’s Home, 1 Shepherd’s Way, Suite 100, Warminster, PA 18974. Private burial.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Ron Schmidt from Christ’s Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Christ’s Home, 1 Shepherd’s Way, Suite 100, Warminster, PA 18974.
