Edward Edwin "Ed or Ziggy" Ziegler Jr. of Mount Laurel, New Jersey died Wednesday, June 10, 2009. He was 30 years old. Ed was born December 5, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Edward E. Ziegler Sr. and Carole Ziegler (nee - Canterbury).

He is the beloved son of Carol Ziegler (nee. Canterbury) and the late Edward E. Ziegler, Sr. Brother of Karen Ziegler-Carfagno and her husband Larry and Michelle Koszarek and her husband Tony. Beloved uncle of Ethan Carfagno and Callie Carfagno. Nephew of Eddie Canterbury and his wife Diana, Billy Bodnar, John Bodnar, Lee Ziegler (Eileen) and David Ziegler. Step-son of Bill Fletcher.

Ed was born, raised and educated in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. He attended Ziegler Elementary School and graduated from Delaware Valley High School. Ed worked as a cook for Lee’s Hoagie House in Marlton, New Jersey.

Relatives and friends were invited to a visitation on Monday, June 15, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. and a memorial service at 2:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 North Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
