Earle H. Geiger of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania died Friday, May 24, 2019 at his home. He was 86 years old. Earle was born August 24, 1932 in Glenside, Pennsylvania, son of the late Floyd F. Geiger and the late Mary Garrett Geiger (nee - Williams). He is the beloved husband of 66 years of Janice Geiger. Father of Scott Geiger and his wife Donna, Cindy Collins and her husband Joe and Lisa Jacobi. Brother of the late Skip, the late Richard, the late Robert Geiger and the late Isabel Schmidt; adoring grandfather of Scott Geiger, Patrick Collins, Nicole Solack, Ryan Collins, Dennis Collins, Corrine Geiger, James Jacobi, Madison Jacobi, Cassidy Collins, and Olivia Paige Jacobi; great grandfather of Mckenna, Hailey, Jacob, Natalie, Ben, and Danika.

Earle was born in Glenside and was raised and educated in Roslyn, graduating from Abington High School in the class of 1951. During high school Earle worked as a stock boy at the Strawbridge and Clothier Department Store, where he met his future wife, Janice, who worked in the linens department. After they were married, he enlisted in the United States Air Force in December of 1952 and served in Benghazi, Libya as an airplane mechanic, during the Korean War. He received his honorable discharge in November of 1956 after reaching the rank of Airman, Second Class. In civilian life, Earle worked as a mechanic in heavy construction for Glasgow, Inc. until his retirement in 1994. He was a longtime resident of 222 Bickley Road in Glenside until moving to North Crossing Apartments in 2005. He was active in the Glenside Fire Company for over 25 years and was an avid fan of both the Phillies and Eagles, attending many of their games each year. He was a season ticket holder for the Philadelphia Eagles since 1958. Earle was known for his constant fiddling, working on things, and being the original MacGyver.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 10:30 A.M. and memorial service at 12:30 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. His graveside service followed with military honors rendered by the United States Air Force at 2:30 P.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Roderick Hawkins, his nephew, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church, 511 Farmington Road, Breinigsville, PA 18031.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Bible Baptist Church, 511 Farmington Road, Breinigsville, PA 18031.
