Catherine R. Richardson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 8317 Rising Sun Avenue. She was 86 years old. Catherine was born February 4, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late William Reid and the late Annie Reid (nee - McKerracher). She is the beloved wife of Robert Ronald Richardson. Mother of Diann Toner (Robert), Karen Toner and her husband Michael and the late Ronald Richardson; grandmother of Denise, Robert, Lauren, Kevin, Michael, Daniel and Matthew; great grandmother of Ella, Kaden, Quinn, Liliana, and Kennedy.
Catherine was born, raised and educated in Philadelphia. She graduated from the Murrell Dobbins High School in the city. She met her husband Ron while both were in High School. Cass and Ron were married in 1957 after Ron’s discharge from the United States Army. During her working career, Cass was an account representative for the American Express Credit Card Company. She focused on her family but also enjoyed activities, bible study and assisting seniors groups at Rhawnhurst Presbyterian Church.
Services were private.
