Robert W. "Bob" Rabel of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Philadelphia Protestant Home. He was 93 years old. Bob was born October 17, 1925, the son of the late Frederick Rabel and the late Julia Rabel (nee - Campbell). He is the beloved husband of the late Valaria Rabel (nee - Delenick), who passed away in February of 2012.

Bob was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia, graduating from the old Northeast High School in the city. He worked for 45 years for General Electric as a office clerk, as an expeditor, and as an auditing clerk. Bob and his wife lived for over 40 years at 607 Mayfair Street in the Crescentville section of Philadelphia, until moving to Gloria Dei Estates on Rhawn Street in 2005. He has been a resident of the Philadelphia Protestant Home since 2009. He has been a long time member of the Glading Memorial Presbyterian Church and the William Elkins Masonic Lodge No. 271 F. & A.M.

Relatives and friends were invited his graveside service at Northwood Cemetery, 1501 Haines Street, Philadelphia, PA 19126 at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Dr. Jack Fletcher Price, chaplain of the Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6500 Tabor Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Glading Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1267 East Cheltenham Avenues, Philadelphia, PA 19124.
