Mary Agnes Emsley of Horsham, Pennsylvania died June 27, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Hospital Hospice. She was 67 years old. Mary Agnes was born February 5, 1945, the daughter of the late Thomas Cavanaugh Jr. and the late Helen Cavanaugh (nee - Bradley).

She is the beloved wife of Kenneth K. Emsley; devoted mother of Donna M. Watton and her husband Ed, Christopher M. Emsley and his wife Carla A., and Stephen E. Emsley; grandmother of Ben Watton, Tom Watton, Ellie Watton, Johnny Hunter, T.J. Watford, Joel Watford, and Amber Emsley; great grandmother of Johnny and Kayleigh Hunter; sister of Tom Cavanaugh III, Theresa Fritz, Ann Camacho, and Michael Cavanaugh.

Mary Agnes was born, raised and educated in Philadelphia, PA, and was a 1963 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School. She was introduced to her future husband in 1964 by a mutual friend. The they were married May 1, 1965. Mary Agnes enjoyed gardening, flowers, and was a huge advocate for recycling. She won an award for her work implementing a plastic recycling program at Cigna Tel-Drug in Horsham where she had worked since 1998. She was also instrumental in starting their garden which would assist local food pantries. Mary Agnes was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Sunday, July 1, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090 and to a second viewing on Monday, July 2 after 10:00 A.M. at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Avenue, Ardsley, PA 19038 www.queenofpeaceparish.net. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated at Church on Monday at 11:00 A.M. A graveside service followed at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940 www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/washingtoncrossing.asp.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Carl Graczyk.
