Mary A. Harris of Lansdale, Pennsylvania died Friday, August 16, 2019 at Elm Terrace Gardens. She was 86 years old. Mary was born September 11, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Harry Horneff and the late Mary Horneff (nee - Kelso). She is the beloved wife of J. Russell “Russ” Harris Jr.; mother of Linda Zook, Al Grams, Jay Harris, Sarah Rufe, Randy Grams, and Donna Faulkner; grandmother of 13; and the great grandmother of 11.

Mary was born, raised, and educated in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. She was a graduate of Germantown High School. Mary enjoyed camping and steamboat rides along the Mississippi River with her beloved “Knight in Shining Armor” Russ. Mary was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Mummers and loved to attend Mummer themed parties.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Redemption Episcopal Church, 1101 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966.

Religious services were conducted by Fr. Emmanuel Williamson from Redemption Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hillside SPCA, Joe’s Fund, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
