Betty and Earl were married on July 3, 1937 at Baptist Temple in Philadelphia and moved to Kinsman, Ohio. Earl worked for National Dairy in Pittsburgh, PA. Betty and Earl moved back to the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia in 1943 where he and his brother, Raymond, established Quality Control Laboratory.
