Walter N. Kastenhuber of Warrington, Pennsylvania died Friday, August 25, 2017 at Abington Health Center Warminster Campus. He was 64 years old. Walter was born December 24, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Rudolph C. Kastenhuber and Evelyn E. Zurybida (nee - Bachmayer). He is the beloved husband of 45 years of Denise Kastenhuber ( nee - Sassane); father of Jennifer Kastenhuber and Laura McComsey and her husband Andrew; brother of Christine Kastenhuber, Rudy Kastenhuber, Carol Riling, Susan Roethke, Andy Kastenhuber, Linda Taylor, Evelyn Frisch, and Michael Kastenhuber. He is also survived by a loving extended family and many close friends.

Walter was raised and educated in Philadelphia, a graduate of Cheltenham High School, Class of 1971. In 1973, he married Denise Sassane and the two would go on to enjoy 45 loving years of marriage. Walter enlisted in the United States Army and served his country until he was Honorably Discharged in 1975. He retired from Multi-Flow Industries as a Service Manager after more than 40 years with the company. In his spare time, Walter was a wine connoisseur, enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family, especially his dogs.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. and funeral service at 8:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to SPCA of Montgomery County, 19 East Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428 or Histiocytosis Association, Inc., 332 North Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071.
