The following obituary was composed by Antonia’s family:

Antonia P. Koehler of Hatboro, PA, passed away peacefully, with her daughter by her side, at the age of 87 on July 6, 2024, at the Commonwealth Senior Living Center Willow Grove. Antonia, also known as Nita, was born on June 13, 1937 in Mabalacat, Pampanga, in the Philippines to the late Pedro and Julia Palo. She was the beloved wife of 59 years to John C. Koehler, Jr. (also known as Jack), loving mother of Linda J. Holloway (Scott), and sweet grandmother of Logan P. Holloway. She is also the sister of Rosalinda Medina, Ricarte Palo, John Palo, the late Mariano Palo and the late Jesus Palo, and sister-in-law to Carole A. Koehler.

Nita graduated from Saint Anthony's Institute, Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines, in 1955 and worked for Clark Air Force Base taking care of international families. Nita lived in the Philippines up until 1964 when she married Jack, who was in the United States Air Force stationed at Clark A.F.B., and, in which time, she came to the United States to call "home". She spent most of her time raising her only child, Linda, and then enjoyed working several years for Prudential as a prep cook. Nita's hobbies included sewing, gardening, cooking, having picnic gatherings, and socializing--she excelled in all of those things! Some of her famous dishes included lumpia, pancit, and adobo chicken. She also truly enjoyed being a grandmother to her grandson Logan! She was the most loving, caring, giving, hard working woman who would enjoy talking to anyone! She was the best wife, mother, mom-mom and in-law anyone could ever have! We love you--rest in peace!

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 250, Philadelphia, PA 19106
