Everett A. Moore, Jr. was born March 8, 1938 in Crummies, Harlan County, Kentucky to Evert A. Moore ( survivor of WW I gas attacks and Kentucky coal mines and mine wars) and Hazel Moore (nee King). He is survived by his wife, Beverly K. Moore (nee McGlenen), sons Michael M. (Pamela) and Timothy P. (Elizabeth Pearson), grandchildren Ryan McGlenen (Jess), Nathan Joel (Molly), and Elisabeth Hope, great-grands Jayden, Lucy, Cillian, and Juniper, and sister Peggy Schell. He is also survived by sister in law Charlene Moore and sister in law Shirley (nee McGlenen) Castor and her husband Art, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by older brothers R.G, Roy, Shirley, and Louis Moore.

His education began in the Harlan County and was an honorary alumnus of Loyall High School. He continued his education in Dayton, Ohio where he graduated from Fairview High School in 1956 and later from the University of Dayton (BS ’64, MS ’66). He retired to Bryan, Ohio in 2000 and moved to Philadelphia, PA in 2016 with increasing health problems to be close to family.

He faithfully attended Valley Baptist Church in Appleton, Wisconsin and then the Bryan Alliance Church in Bryan Ohio for many years. He was an active participant in the Lions Club in Bryan, until his health limited his involvement.
