Tom’s family has lovingly composed the following obituary:

Tom passed away suddenly on April 4, 2018. He grew up in the Swampoodle neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Dolores (Dee) and was predeceased by his late wife, Theresa (nee Gallagher), his late sisters Catherine “Cass” and Helen, and his beloved dog Windsor.

He was loved by his daughters Denise (Tom), and Ellen (Tony), as well as his grandchildren Tommy (Jackie), Ryan, Jonathan (Ann Marie), Felicia (Rollie), Theresa Anne (Eddie), and Anthony. He will also be missed by his great-grandchildren Tommy, Vinny, Joey, and Serena as well as his step-children, the late Sal, John, Gregory, Frank, Bridget (Billy), and Tommy, and his step-grandchildren Rachel and Kurt.

He proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a loyal Philadelphia Athletics fan as a young man and a true Eagles fan. He loved to travel and to spend time with his family and dear friends. He was an accomplished Irish Ceili dancer and enjoyed playing Bridge.

He will be greatly missed as he was dearly loved by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anselm Church, 12669 Dunks Ferry Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. His graveside service and military honors rendered by the United States Navy followed at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Religious services were conducted by St. Anselm Church.
