Charles A. Hofelder of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Hospital Hospice. He was 88 years old. Charles was born November 5, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Paul Hofelder and the late Anastasia Hofelder (nee - Pawlovec). He is the beloved husband of the late Erne R. Hofelder (nee Bubeck); father of Linda Jackson, Raymond Hofelder and Kim Teesdale; grandfather of Justine Jackson, Alexander Hofelder, David Teesdale and the late Kari Anne Jackson; brother of Marie Hofelder; the late Joseph Hofelder, the late Anna Coryell, the late Helen Benhayon, the late Carol Montenaro, and the late Sonny Hofelder. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Charles was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia. He graduated from St. Agnes Church School, where he also served as an altar server, and Roman Catholic High School.
