Dolores Rose Bartle of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Thursday, June 7, 2018 at home. She was 88 years old. Dolores was born July 4, 1929 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Dominic Stodolak and the late Anna Stodolak (nee - Falkowski). She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph Matthew Bartle; mother of Joseph and his wife Janet, Linda and her husband Anthony, and the late David Bartle; grandmother of Deanna Bartle, Gregory Bartle and his wife Nicole, the late Kimberly Bartle, Jami-Lynn Burvanis, and Joshua Bartle; great grandmother of Desmond and Nora Bartle.

Dolores was raised and educated in Philadelphia. She was a proud graduate of Nazareth Academy. Dolores and Joseph were married in Philadelphia on January 18, 1948. They raised their family in Philadelphia. Dolores worked as a secretary for Penn Mutual and later Dun-Rite Printing. She loved to garden and take care of her pets.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 2000 Shelmire Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19152. Her graveside service follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. James DeGrassa from Resurrection of Our Lord Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 555 Croton Road, Suite 111, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
