William Thomas "Bill" Dikeman of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at VNA Hospice. He was 91 years old. Bill was born October 12, 1926 in Elgin, Illinois, son of the late William Dikeman and the late Clarabel Dikeman (nee - Webb). He is the beloved husband of Vivian H. (nee Kyle) Dikeman; father of Sara Donnarumma and her husband James and Warren Dikeman and his wife Anja; grandfather of Natalie Donnarumma and Katya Dikeman; brother of Dorothy Schuldt and her husband the late Jerry.
Bill was raised and educated in Dundee IL. He continued his education with degrees from Northwestern University. He and Vivian met at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas and were wed in the same town in 1952. They moved to Philadelphia in the late 1950’s and raised their children. Bill worked for Sear Roebuck and Penn Mutual Insurance before starting his own marketing firm WTD Marketing. He produced business directories in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia and Rockledge, PA (referred as Fox-Rock). In his free time, Bill enjoyed writing and photography. He was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and was very involved in his church. Bill served as both Moderator and Greeter at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration.
Religious services are being planned from Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration, 6900 Stenton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19150.
