Barbara A. Tilford of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania died Tuesday June 12, 2018 at her home. She was 64 years old. Barbara was born October 26, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Herman Schwab and the late Lorretta Schwab (nee-Schmuker). She is the beloved wife of Gary Tilford; mother of Holly A. Tilford and her partner Jason Neal, Jamison J. Tilford and his wife Yvonne Tilford; beloved sister of Donna Hector; grandmother of Camryn Tilford, and Magnolia and Cora Neal. She is survived by a loving extended family and friends.

Barbara graduated from Abington High School class of ‘71, Wesley College class of ‘73 and Roger Williams College class of ‘76. Barbara retired from the finance department at Salus University after “20” years in 2016. She was a lifelong member of Elkins Park Presbyterian Church. Barbara courageously battled Multiple Sclerosis the last 24 years.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 9:30 A.M. and memorial service beginning immediately at 11:00 A.M. at Elkins Park Presbyterian Church, 234 Cedar Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Cynthia Betz-Bogoly from Elkins Park Presbyterian Church.
