Dawn M. Ruggieri of Hatboro, Pennsylvania died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Fox Chase Cancer Center after a valiant battle with cancer. She was 58 years old. Dawn was born October 15, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of Robert MacFarland and May MacFarland (nee - King). She is the loving mother of Gina Ruggieri; foster mother of several young children over the past 15 years; sister of Donna Vincenti and her husband James and Dale Galecki and her husband Henry.
Dawn was raised and educated in Horsham, PA where she graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School in 1977. She raised her daughter in Hatboro. Dawn was an active and long time member of Hatboro Community Church. She enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas and Florida. Dawn will be remembered as a devoted friend to those she knew and a lover of her furry pets.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:30 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Her graveside service will follow at Rosedale Memorial Park, 3850 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Kerry R. Ritts from Hatboro Community Church.
