Virginia Anne "Ginny" DiSalvatore of Cheltenham, Pennsylvania died Monday, December 24, 2018 at her home. She was 62 years old. Ginny was born September 3, 1956 in Abington, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Martin Nebel and the late Virginia Nebel (nee - Reese). She is the beloved wife of Robert L. DiSalvatore; mother of Robert DiSalvatore and his wife Roxanne and Anthony DiSalvatore and his wife Angela; grandmother of Ryan McNulty and Muriel DiSalvatore; sister of Martin Nebel and his wife Debbie and Marianne Klugheit and her husband Mark. She is also survived by a loving extended family and adoring friends.

Virginia was raised and educated in Philadelphia, graduating from Einstein’s Nursing School and later Temple University. She served her community as a dedicated healthcare provider for many years as a Registered Nurse, and then through further accreditation, as a Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC) for the Philadelphia Geriatric Center and later the Inglis House.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Church, Cheltenham, 7631 Waters Road, Cheltenham, PA 19012. Her graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

Religious services were conducted by Fr. William S. Harrison from St. Joseph Church, Cheltenham.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Temple Lung Center, 3500 North Broad Street, Suite 1101, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
