Guenter J. Magin of Southampton, Pennsylvania died Saturday, November 17, 2018 at his home. He was 82 years old. Guenter was born July 1, 1936 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany, son of the late Julius Magin and the late Hilda Magin (nee - Herbold). He is the beloved husband of Katherine Magin (nee - Wirsz); father of Thomas Magin and Christine Buchanan and her husband Donald; brother of Jurgin Magin; and uncle of Ralph Magin. He is also survived by a loving extended family and friends.
Guenter was a lifelong member of the local United German Hungarian Club.
Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. and Memorial Mass at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady Of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, PA 18966. Military honors rendered by the United States Army and his graveside service followed at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
Religious services were conducted by Fr. John J. Kilgallon from Our Lady Of Good Counsel Church.
