Josefa Gonzalez of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Friday, December 14, 2018 at her home. She was 90 years old. Josefa was born March 1, 1928 in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Jose Santiago and the late Maria Delores Santiago (nee - Rodriguez). She is the beloved wife of Rev. Luis C. Gonzalez; mother of Ruth Ringwood, Eliezer Gonzalez and his wife Elizabeth, Samuel Gonzalez and his late wife Cheryl, Milca Lilian and her husband Michael, Lois Gennaoui and her husband George, Rachel Greenstein and her husband Robert, Rebecca Ruskiewicz and her husband Joseph, Damaris Maldonado and her husband Edward, Dorcas Varela and her husband Rolando, Carmelo Luis Gonzalez, and David Gonzalez; grandmother of 23; great-grandmother of 17; and she was the eldest daughter of eight children.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Her graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
