Michael Hallinan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at VITAS - Nazareth Hospital. He was 62 years old. Michael was born October 5, 1956 in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, son of the late John J. Hallinan and Elizabeth A. Hallinan (nee - Duffy). He is the beloved father of Michael Hallinan and his wife Kelly, Patrick Hallinan, Elizabeth Vogler and her husband Walter, and Kelly Hallinan; he is also survived by longtime loving companion and mother of his children of Kelly Hallinan (nee - Hardiman); grandfather of Bridget, Cara, and Molly Hallinan and Ryan and Natalie Vogler; brother of nine and survived by a loving extended family.
Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 9:45 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148 or in keeping with A.A.’s Seventh Tradition of self-support, only A.A. members can make contributions to Alcoholics Anonymous, Grand Service Office Box 459, Grand Central Station, New York, NY 10163.
