Teresa E. "Terry" Hoag of Ambler, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Jefferson Health Hospice at Warminster surrounded by her family. She was 61 years old. Terry was born December 1, 1957 in Philadephia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John Rosenberger and the late Teresa Rosenberger (nee - Leary). She is the beloved wife of Thomas Hoag Sr.; mother of Candace P. Lee and her husband William, Thomas F. Hoag Jr. and his wife Stacy, and Matthew M. Hoag and his wife Concetta; grandmother of Anthony Carleo and William Lee; sister of Penny Dunn and Sandy Finney. She is also survived by her beloved dogs Bodie and Gina and parakeet Petey.

Teresa was raised and educated in the Horsham area where she graduated in 1975 from Hatboro-Horsham High School. While growing up, she enjoyed her time in the Girl Scouts, the Willow Grove Bowling leagues and horse back riding. She married Thomas on November 20, 1988 in their newly purchased home by the Mayor of Hatboro, Joe Celano. While raising her kids, Terry would enjoy helping out at their schools. She worked as a waitress starting with her sister at “Penny’s Luncheonette”, and later at “The Pike” and “Edibles”. She loved music and her trips to Burlington Island with her cousins. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Montgomery County SPCA, 1006 Edge Hill Road, Abington, PA 19001.
