Marie Devlin of Perkasie, Pennsylvania died Friday, December 28, 2018 at Grand View Hospital. She was 63 years old. Marie was born October 29, 1955 in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Harry William Bratzler and the late Margaret Bratzler (nee - Abby). She is the beloved wife of Thomas Devlin; devoted owner of Coco the chocolate lab; sister of Hope Spencer, Matthew Bratzler, Harry Bratzler and his wife Debra, Rita Ulmer and her husband Tom, and the late Mark Bratzler and his wife the late Mary Beth Bratzler; niece of Rita Lees.

Marie was raised in Rockledge, Pennsylvania where she attended the Rockledge School. She graduated from Abington High School in 1973. She was a longtime employee at Designer Dispatch where she worked as an accounts receivable processor. Marie met Thomas Devlin in the Rockledge neighborhood when they were both in their teens. They were married in August of 1978. Marie and Tom lived in several areas around Philadelphia before settling for the last 20 years in Perkasie.

In their free time Marie and Tom were members of several bowling leagues. Marie enjoyed all kinds of crafts and cooking. She loved the beach and could frequently be found in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island. Marie loved her pets and was devoted to Coco her chocolate lab.

Relatives and friends were invited to her graveside service on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

Religious services were conducted by Fr. Robert F. Lucas from St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Bucks County SPCA, PO Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
