Milton Gordon Kremer of Harleysville, Pennsylvania died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his home. He was 95 years old. Milton was born December 5, 1923 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, son of the late Milton David Kremer and the late Mabel Kremer (nee - Bankes). He is the beloved husband of Elaine (nee Sterner) Kremer; father of David Kremer and his wife Beth and Karen Dick and her husband Jim; grandfather of Kurt, Phillip, Bryon, Emily, and Jayme; great grandfather of Tyler B., Tyler H., Cooper, Molly, Brooke, and Jenni.

Milton was born, raised, and educated in Pottsville, PA where he was a 1943 graduate of Pottsville High School. He enlisted into the United States Navy during his senior year of high school. He served honorably on three destroyers in the Atlantic as a signal man and later on guarded commercial tankers. He later served as Quartermaster. Milton met Elaine while attending First Reformed Church in Pottsville. The two were wed in October of 1945 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Abington, PA. They became active members of Holy Trinity where Milton would serve on church council, as superintendent of the Sunday School, choir member, and member of the 39ers. He also was active in the Boy Scouts throughout his life starting as a scout himself and later as a leader in the Boy Scouts and Sea Scouts.

Relatives and friends were invited to his funeral service on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 9:30 A.M. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2086 Parkview Avenue, Abington, PA 19001. His graveside service followed at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2086 Parkview Avenue, Abington, PA 19001.
