Jean "Kathryn" O'Malley of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Holy Redeemer Hospital. She was 74 years old. Jean was born November 7, 1944 in Cape May, New Jersey. She is the beloved wife of the late Stephen O’Malley; and sister in law of Diane Mallon. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Jean was a graduate of the University of Delaware. She worked for many years for the FOX Television network. In her free time she loved to travel, especially to Cozumel, Ireland, and Germany.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Relatives and friends were also invited to her viewing on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 9:30 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Her graveside service followed at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
