Raymond P. "Skeets" Seminack of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Sunday, March 24, 2019 at his home. He was 75 years old. Skeets was born June 8, 1943, the son of the late Raymond Seminack and the late Anna Seminack (nee - Cwiek). He is the beloved husband of Carol Seminack (nee - Voegele); father of Michael Seminack and his wife Meg, Christina Fasano, and Meghan Wakefield and her husband Patrick; grandfather of Michael and Annie Seminack, Lily Fasano, and Luke and Katie Wakefield; brother of Robert Seminack and his wife Janis, Joanne McCartney and her husband Kevin, Gregory Seminack and his wife Bernadine, Stephen Seminack and his wife Ava, Thomas Seminack and his wife Valerie, and the late Most Reverend Bishop Richard Seminack. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a loving extended family

Skeets was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia, graduating from Father Judge High School in 1961 and then earning a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph’s University in 1965. After college, Skeets enlisted in the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged after six years of service. He met the love of his life Carol Voegele and the two were smitten after spotting each other from across the room. They were married at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on September 27, 1969 and shared nearly 50 years of loving marriage. Skeets spent the majority of his career as a mechanical contractor and his talents were multifold. He excelled at plumbing, electrical repairs, home repairs and woodworking. Skeets was happiest on the golf course with his brothers. He was a man of integrity, loyalty, intellect, and devotion to his family and friends. Skeets will be sorely missed by the many that knew him.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 9:30 A.M. and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at St. Genevieve Parish Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031. His graveside services with Military honors rendered by the United States National Guard followed on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.
