David F. Corbett of Warrington, Pennsylvania died suddenly on Thursday, April 4, 2019. He was 69 years old. David was born August 25, 1949 in Abington, Pennsylvania, son of the late John J. Corbett and the late Mary K. Corbett (nee - Ball). He is the beloved husband of Mary Lou (nee - Pulli), father of Kimberly (Art) Heilman and Duke (fiancée Samantha McGlynn) Corbett. Dave is survived by his brother John (Sharon) Corbett and sisters Kathleen (Gary) Garland, Mary Lou Corbett (Michelle) and Christine (John) Melone. Dave is also survived by his four loving granddaughters, Jackie, Katie, Sarah, and Meghan Mitchell as well as many nieces and nephews. Dave will be greatly missed by his dog Shorty.

Dave was born and raised in Willow Grove and became a contractor by trade. He shared his life with his best friend Mary Lou for 51 years. Dave enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends. He also loved vacationing in Key West, FL and was affectionately referred to as the “Mayor” of Key West by his large following of friends that he entertained with his stories and jokes. Dave was a “people” person. Dave also spent many summers at the family home in Silverton, NJ and loved spending time there.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. and memorial service at 12:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. His graveside service followed at St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Gift Of Life Family House, 401 North 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
