Christopher Pawlowski of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died on Saturday, May 4, 2019. He was 25 years old. Chris was born September 7, 1993 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, beloved son of Matthew Pawlowski and Cecilia Pawlowski (nee - Osinski). He is the brother of Matthew Pawlowski and his wife Selena and Ashley Ruggiero and her husband Daniel; Uncle and God Father of Danny Ruggiero; grandson of Matthew Pawlowski and his wife the late Eleanor and Louis Oskinski and his wife the late Cecilia; nephew of Christine McFadden and her children Bernie, Ryan, and Kristin and Ryan’s daughter Amelia, Louis Osinski and his wife Monica and their children Katherine, Jennifer, and Tommy, and the late Denise Pawlowski. Chris is also survived by his mother Cecilia’s uncle Bob Osinski and his sons Bobby and Daniel.

Chris was born and raised in Philadelphia. As a boy Chris played soccer at Coppa Philadelphia Soccer Club He continued playing soccer at both LaSalle College High School where he graduated in 2012 and Bloomsburg University where he graduated in 2016. Chris received a degree in Criminal Justice and after graduation went to work as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Philadelphia.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 7:30 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. His Funeral Mass began at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111 and was followed by a graveside service at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.

Religious services were conducted by St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware and Susquehanna Valley, 5 Valley Square, Suite 210, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
