Katherine ”Kay” Kruger of Southampton, Pennsylvania died Thursday, May 9, 2019 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA.. She was 88 years old. Kay was born June 30, 1930, the daughter of the late Charles Aldinger and the late Ella Aldinger (nee - Stoll). She is the beloved wife of the late Fred Kruger; mother of Rick Kruger; sister of Paul Aldinger and his wife Joan; sister-in-law of Edith Young; aunt of Scott Aldinger and his wife Mindy, Steve Aldinger and his wife Debbie, Andrew Aldinger and his wife Noel, Leslie Boff and her late husband Steve, John “Skip” Young and his wife Melissa, Timothy Young and his wife Cheryl, Nancy Klingensmith and her husband Lee, James Young and his wife Patty, and Debbie McLaughlin and her husband Tom. She is also survived by her many great nieces and nephews.

Kay was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia where she graduated from Roxborough High School in the city. She married Fred “Fritz” Kruger after World War Two and the couple settled in Northeast Philadelphia. During her working career Kay was employed as a teller for the Provident National Bank, retiring in 1989. For the past forty years she has been a resident of Churchville, PA. She was formerly a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Burholme section of Philadelphia and currently is a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Feasterville, PA

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. and to her funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 65 East Street Road, Feasterville, PA 19053. Her interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church Memorial Fund at the above address.
