Diana L. Misuda of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at her home. She was 88 years old. Diana was born October 25, 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Joseph D’Elia and the late Mary Zanolli (nee - Tedesco) and her husband Victor. She is the beloved wife of the late Walter J. Misuda; loving mother of Diane Nowak and her husband Richard and the late Richard Misuda; grandmother of Justin Nowak and his wife Brittney; sister of Victor Zanolli and his wife Pat, and Marianne Paster.

Diana was born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. She was raised and educated in Philadelphia graduating from Simon Gratz High School. She continued her education at Montgomery County Community College in general studies. Diana met Walter while working in the shipping department of Brown Instruments. The two were wed on May 14, 1950. Diana would work later in retail for Hit or Miss women’s clothing shops in Dresher and Willow Grove, PA. She loved to cook and bake which showed in her ultimate hosting of holidays for family. She was also active in Abington Hospital’s Celiac Association teaching others how to cook gluten free.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Her Funeral Mass began at 10:30 A.M. at St. David Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Her graveside service followed at St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914.

Religious services were conducted by Fr. Richard P. Connors from St. David Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Confidence Day School, 314 North Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
