Gale S. Scotch of New Hope, Pennsylvania died Friday, August 16, 2019 at Pine Run Health Center. She was 73 years old. Gale was born July 9, 1946 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Merl Judge Shanks and the late Stella Mae Shanks (nee - Poteete). She is the beloved wife of Robert Scotch; mother of Peter R. Scotch, Sarah E. “Sadie” Scotch; step mother of Henry R. Scotch.
Gale was born, raised, and educated in Webbers Falls, OK. She went to assist her aunt her senior year and graduated from Fort Gibson High School. In the 1970’s, Gale worked as a flight attendant for Trans International. It was during this time that she met Robert Scotch while in the Phillipines for work. The two were wed on May 21, 1976 in San Francisco, CA. They raised their family in High Bridge, NJ and later in Solebury Township, PA. Gale loved her art and was well known and respected for her landscapes and painting of scenes of Bucks County, PA.
