Mary E. Cupps of Abington, Pennsylvania passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was 73 years old. Mary was born October 22, 1945 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Ellis Charles Dwyer and the late Cara Mildred Dwyer (nee - Culbreth). She is the beloved wife of the late Carlton S. Cupps Sr.; Loving mother of Matthew Cupps and his wife Janet, Kelly Cupps, and James Cupps; sister of Gerry Nicely and her husband Ben and Chris Beilharz and her husband Barry.
A graduate of Radnor High School, she worked as a front end manager for K-Mart in Willow Grove, PA for many years. Mary and Carlton were married on Valentines Day, February 14, 1970. They raised their family in Abington, PA. She was compassionate and family oriented.
Mary was a very creative and artistic person. She was a lover of life, enjoyed being outside in the garden and watching wildlife.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Her graveside service followed at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn, PA 19001.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Mark McDowell from Abington Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Montgomery County SPCA, 1006 Edge Hill Road, Abington, PA 19001.
