Robert S. Fowler Sr. of Holland, Pennsylvania died Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Abington Health Center Warminster Campus. He was 74 years old. Robert was born October 15, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late John F. Fowler Sr. and the late Florence Fowler (nee - Barford). He is the beloved husband of Sue Fowler (nee - Collins) of 48 years; father of Robert Fowler, Jr and Denise Fowler; and the brother of the late John Fowler, Jr. He is also survived by a loving extended family.

Bob was born and raised in Philadelphia, graduating from Frankford High School. He served his country in the United States Navy Air Reserves and was honorably discharged. Bob met the love of his life Sue Collins in the late 1960s and two were married in 1971. The couple moved to what would become their longtime residence in Holland, Pennsylvania in that same year on Bob’s 30th birthday.

During his working years, Bob was involved in moving and storage for the length of his career. In his free time, he took great enjoyment in spending time at the family shore home and taking in all the beach town had to offer. From a young age through the Boy Scouts and through the the Surf City Yacht Club, he was involved with Moth Class sailboats. Later in life, Bob continued to enjoy boating and fishing, and became an avid woodworker. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 10:30 A.M. and Memorial Mass at 12:00 P.M. at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Little Sisters Of The Poor, 5300 Chester Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19143.
