William E. Nagle a longtime resident of Southampton, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Attleboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 86 years old. William was born January 4, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late William E. Nagle and the late Frances Nagle (nee - Sheetz). He is the beloved husband of the late Joanne Nagle; father of William Nagle, Linda Henry, Steven Nagle, and Cynthia Segal (Glenn); grandfather of Charlene Richardson (Renee), Karalyn and Carla Henry, Steven Nagle, Mary Loeb, and Arielle and Justin Segal; great grandfather of Spencer Richardson; brother of the late Jean Nelson, the late Norton Ryne, and Margaret Singer.

William was born and raised in the Crescentville section of Philadelphia. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1956. During his working years, he served his community as a member of the United States Postal Service. William was a longtime member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church in Philadelphia.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, 7965 Fillmore Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111. His graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

Religious services were conducted by Pastor Deborah Wolfe from St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, 7965 Fillmore Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
