Joseph D. Ricci of Rockledge, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his home surrounded by family and close friends. He was 66 years old. Joseph was born May 18, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of Domenic Ricci and the late Phyllis Ricci (nee - Cilli). He is the beloved husband of Charlene (nee Czyzewski) Ricci; father of Vincent J. Ricci. He is also survived by his brother Emilio “Rickey” Ricci and his wife Barbara; his sister Linda Ricci; and many nieces and nephews.

Joe was born, raised, and educated in the Olney section of Philadelphia. He was a proud graduate of the class of 1971 at Cardinal Dougherty High School. Joe was a truck driver for many years with Teamsters Local 470. He enjoyed muscle cars, Philadelphia sports, the three stooges, Frank Sinatra, and a good cigar.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 8:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. His Funeral Mass began at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111. His graveside service followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.

Religious services were conducted by Father Angelo J. Rizzo, S.J.
