Christopher John DeCarlo of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at his daughter’s home. He was 54 years old. Christopher was born April 15, 1965 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late John T. DeCarlo and the late Monica F. DeCarlo (nee - Topoleski). He is the beloved father of Rachel DeCarlo and Alexandra DeCarlo; and the brother of Christine DeCarlo-Groves.
Christopher was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia, graduating from the Creative and Performing Arts High School. During most of his working years, his life revolved around performance art and dance. As a professional actor and dancer his career took him to New York City, onto national network television, and into the classroom as a teacher. Christopher was also a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild. Later in life, he worked in insurance.
Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. and memorial service at 4:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
