Rosemary J. Grady of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania died Thursday, October 31, 2019 at her home. She was 66 years old. Rosemary was born January 8, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Edward P. Rauch and the late Anna M. Rauch (nee - Hansbury). She is the beloved wife of Thomas J. Grady; mother of Erinrose Hogan and her husband Daniel III and James Grady and his wife Amanda; grandmother of Daniel Hogan IV, Bridget Hogan, Annarose Hogan, Lucy Hogan, and Aubrey Grady; sister of Marianne Rauch, Gerard Rauch, and Connie Baker and her husband Harry.

Rosemary was a 1970 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School. She went to work after high school but continued her education later in life and became a Registered Nurse. She worked for fifteen years at The Lafayette Redeemer Nursing Home. Rosemary and Thomas were married in 1973 at St. Cecilia’s Parish in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia. Rosemary was an artist, she loved flowers, gardening, making jewelry, yard sales, and enjoying a nice dinner out.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Her Funeral Mass began at 10:00 A.M. at St. Hilary of Poitiers Church, 820 Susquehanna Road, Rydal, PA 19046. Her graveside service followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.

Religious services were conducted by Fr. Kevin P. Murray from St. Hilary of Poitiers Church, 820 Susquehanna Road, Rydal, PA 19046.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
