Dionis "Doc" Kergides of Cheltenham, Pennsylvania died Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. He was 91 years old. Doc was born April 16, 1928 in Pine Hills, New Jersey, son of the late George Spiro Kergides and the late Maria Kergides (nee - Redlinger). He is the beloved husband of the late Grace Frances Kergides; father of Rosemary Maurer, Dean Kergides and his wife Maria, and Joe Kergides; grandfather of Amanda and Nikki Maurer and Kacie, Kristian, Kiley, and Andreas Kergides; brother of George Kergides; he is also survived by a loving extended family.
Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. His entombment and military honors rendered by the United States Army followed at 12:15 P.M. at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
