Paul A. Romano Sr. of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Hospital. He was 71 years old. Paul was born June 30, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Leo Romano and the late Clare Romano (nee - Roussel). Paul leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years Patricia Romano. He is also survived by his children Paul A. Romano Jr. and Lynn Ho, Paul Jr.'s mother Carol Romano, his sister Margaret and brother-in-law John Bernesky, his sister-in-law Bernadette Romano and his best friend since childhood Mike Sbraga. Paul's older brother, Bob Romano, passed in 2016 and we hope he is reunited with him again.

Paul was a graduate of North Catholic High School, class of 1966. Paul helped countless numbers of people for over 30 years in his profession as a drug and alcohol counselor. He himself, proudly celebrated 34 years of sobriety January 2020. 

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church, 3900 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. Military honors rendered by the United States Navy and his graveside services followed at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Sandra Brown from Peace Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Fox Chase Cancer Center - IA Dept., 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
