Stephen P. Michalowski Sr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Friday, February 7, 2020 at his home. He was 64 years old. Stephen was born May 5, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Robert Michalowski and the late Mary Ann Michalowski (nee - Pellak). He is the beloved husband of 32 years of Diane Michalowski (nee - Seeger); father of Stephen P. Michalowski, Jr; brother of Bob Michalowski, Mark Michalowski and his wife Karen, Patty Ann Devlin and her husband Jimmy, Greg Michalowski and his wife Cathy, Mary Ann Isopi and her husband Ben, Gary Michalowski and his wife Coleen, Helene Purcell and her husband Mike, Christopher Michalowski and his wife Michelle, and Joseph Michalowski. He is also survived by a loving extended family.

Stephen was born, raised, and educated in Northeast Philadelphia. He graduated from Archbishop Ryan, attended the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Holy Family University. Stephen was a lifelong sports fan, playing football and lacrosse in high school and rooting for all of the Philadelphia sports teams. For the last 15 years, he was a Field Service Technician with PGW. Stephen will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Relatives and friends were also invited to his viewing on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 9:45 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111.

Religious services were conducted by St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
