The family has lovingly composed the following obituary:
David Andrew Oprysko, age 57, passed away on May 17, 2020. Beloved husband of 34 years to the late Maryellen (née Simons) who was his forever love. She preceded him in death the day prior to him. David was born on January 7th, 1963 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the second born son to Joan and the late Joseph Oprysko.
David spent his life working as an electrician fulfilling his passion for fixing things and working with tools. A member of Local Union 98 for many years, he enjoyed his work and the many people he encountered along the way. His career was fulfilling and brought him much happiness.
David is survived by his beloved daughters , Jacqueline (William) Peters and Jade Oprysko; his Grandson Chase Peters, his Mother, Joan(née Dwyer), Brothers: William, Joseph (Karen), Jim (Jane) and his sister Patricia(Peter) Andrews. All of them he loved very much.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. and Memorial Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. William Church, 6200 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Interment was private.
