James “Franklin” Shores of Abington, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Abington. He was 77 years old. Franklin was born November 9, 1942 in Poquoson, Virginia, son of the late John Leroy Shores and the late Sue Shores (nee - Freeman). He is the beloved husband of the late Barbara Shores (nee - Evans); father of Briana Hodson and her husband Nathan; brother of Janet Watkins, the late John Shores, the late Edward Earl Shores, and the late Carrol Shores; he is also survived by a loving extended family.
Franklin was born, raised, and educated in Virginia. He was a member of the American Institute of Conservation which is dedicated to the preservation of irreplaceable cultural heritage.
